Aegean Airlines Now Offers Athens-Erbil Flights

As of early 2025, AEGEAN will connect Athens with Iraq, with direct flights from Athens Airport to Erbil International Airport commencing on February 23 and operating twice a week, every Wednesday and Sunday. Shortly thereafter, on April 14, 2025, the airline will also recommence its direct flights from Athens to Azerbaijan, which will operate every Monday and Friday with Airbus A320neo aircraft.

The new routes mark a significant expansion of AEGEAN’s network, enhancing connectivity between Greece and key destinations in the Middle East and the Caucasus. These services aim to facilitate both tourism and business travel, offering passengers convenient and reliable options for exploring Iraq and Azerbaijan.
