The Al-Bayda Health Centre, located in the Talabiya area of Baghdad, officially opened its doors to the public on Monday, December 9, 2024. This modern facility, under the Baghdad Al-Rusafa Health Department, aims to enhance access to comprehensive healthcare for over 35,000 residents in the community.
Built on a 750-square-metre area, the centre is designed with 35 fully equipped rooms, providing a range of medical services that cater to diverse health needs. These include two medical units, two dental units, and specialised radiology units dedicated to early detection of conditions such as breast cancer, blood pressure abnormalities, and diabetes.
The Al-Bayda Health Centre also focuses on holistic health promotion. It offers services in immunisation, mental health, school health, and general health awareness. The on-site laboratory, furnished with advanced medical equipment, ensures accurate diagnostic support for the community.
This new health facility is part of a broader government initiative to improve healthcare infrastructure across Iraq, reflecting a commitment to enhancing the quality and accessibility of medical services for its citizens. The Al-Bayda Health Centre is set to become a cornerstone of wellness for the Talabiya area, combining state-of-the-art facilities with community-centred care.
