Baghdad Airport Gardens Upgraded to Enhance Visitor Experience

The General Company for Airports and Air Navigation Management continues its comprehensive development campaign for Baghdad International Airport as part of the Ministry of Transport’s strategic plan to advance Iraq’s civil aviation sector.

Director General of the company, Dr. Engineer Abbas Sabbar Al-Baydani, announced that, under the directives of the Minister of Transport, Mr. Razzaq Muhaibis Al-Saadawi, maintenance and rehabilitation works are progressing around the clock. The tasks are being carried out to the highest standards, in line with a comprehensive vision to enhance airport infrastructure and elevate the quality of services provided to travellers and visitors.

Al-Baydani emphasised that the campaign includes extensive development and rehabilitation of the airport gardens, as well as the renovation of floors and ceilings. He noted that these efforts are part of Baghdad International Airport’s determined progress toward achieving full readiness to welcome passengers from across the globe, reflecting Iraq’s rich cultural and civilised standing.

The Ministry of Transport reaffirms its commitment to improving Iraq’s key aviation facilities and enhancing the overall travel experience for visitors and citizens alike.
