Continued efforts in such campaigns are expected to significantly improve the city’s quality of life in the long run. The initiative is a crucial step toward sustainable development, as planting long-living trees along major roads will help mitigate pollution, particularly in areas facing increasing traffic congestion.

The partnership between the Directorate of Relations and Media and the Baghdad Cycling Team underscores the importance of collaboration between the government and civil society. Engaging local groups raises community awareness and encourages public participation in environmental initiatives, promoting a culture of conservation and protection of natural resources.
