Baghdad Trade Fair to Host 22 Countries in February

The Ministry of Trade has announced its readiness for the 48th session of the Baghdad International Fair, set to take place from 1st-7th February 2025. The event is expected to draw significant international attention, with 22 countries and between 600 to 700 local, Arab, and international companies confirmed to participate.

Ministry spokesperson Muhammad Hanoun highlighted the importance of this prestigious event, noting, “The Ministry of Trade is preparing well for the 48th session of the Baghdad International Fair. We are working diligently to finalise all preparations and eagerly await the arrival of delegations participating in this large gathering.”

The Baghdad International Fair is a landmark event that serves as a platform for fostering trade relationships and showcasing Iraq’s potential in various sectors. The fair provides opportunities for local and international businesses to engage, establish partnerships, and explore investment prospects in Iraq’s evolving economy.

The 48th session aims to spotlight Iraq’s growing role in regional and global trade while offering exhibitors a chance to display their products, services, and innovations to a diverse audience. Participants will include businesses and organisations from industries such as technology, manufacturing, agriculture, energy, and more.

With delegations from 22 countries and hundreds of companies attending, the fair is expected to further strengthen Iraq’s commercial ties and contribute to its economic development. This year’s exhibition promises to build on the success of previous editions, promoting Iraq as a hub for international business and collaboration.
