The Baghdad International Theatre Festival showcased a total of 20 Arab and local Iraqi performances, making a great progress in the theatre sector for Iraqi artists. The event brought great ambitions for the future of theatre and all the people involved in it.
The Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Antiquities hosted the closing ceremony and honoured all the artists that participated in the festival. The Al-Rashid and Al-Watani theatres invited groups of performers from all over the world, such as Egypt, Iran, Belgium, Algeria, Italy, and many more.
