Breast Cancer Screening for Female Finance Ministry Staff

As part of its commitment to promoting health awareness, the Ministry of Finance, under the patronage of Minister Taif Sami Mohammed, has launched an early breast cancer screening campaign for its female employees.

Organised by the Minister’s Office – Women’s Affairs Department in collaboration with the Ministry of Health – Women’s Affairs Department, the initiative aims to provide essential healthcare services and encourage early detection of breast cancer.

A dedicated mobile unit equipped with X-ray imaging technology has been stationed at the ministry to conduct screenings. Employees will receive their test results along with necessary medical advice to ensure timely intervention if needed.

The Ministry of Finance has emphasised the significance of this initiative and reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening cooperation with the Ministry of Health to offer free, high-quality healthcare services to female employees.

This campaign underscores the ministry’s dedication to employee well-being and the importance of preventive healthcare in safeguarding public health.
