The Head of Communications and Media Commission (CMC), Dr Ali Al-Moayad, signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Chinese Company Huawei in the field of cyber security and capacity building.
The memorandum aims to increase interaction between the authority and Huawei to increase opportunities for future cooperation, joint innovation, knowledge exchange, training courses, and development in the field of cybersecurity for government agencies in Iraq.
According to the memorandum, Huawei will support the authority in the field of cyber security based on the companies’ experience in this field in exchange of joint experiences. This enhances the capabilities of government employees and officials in a systematic manner.
The Communications and Media Commission is open to all companies specialised in the field of information technology for the purpose of skills development and capacity building for cyber security.
