The Children’s Culture House is playing a prominent role in the third edition of the Iraq International Children’s Festival, which kicked off today, January 12, 2024, at the Baghdad International Fairgrounds. The festival, set to run for seven days, was inaugurated by Baghdad Governor Mr. Abdul Muttalib Al-Alawi and Sheikh Muhammad Al-Baydani, head of the Al-Huda Foundation, the festival’s official sponsor.
The Children’s Culture House showcased a special exhibition, highlighting its range of publications and resources designed for young audiences. The exhibition featured magazines, including Al-Mizmar, a variety of story series, school bulletins, and informative posters. All materials presented were carefully curated to reflect the values and customs of Iraqi society while enhancing children’s cognitive development.
This participation is part of the Children’s Culture House’s ongoing efforts to engage children and the wider community in cultural and educational initiatives. The House has previously been involved in numerous cultural and community festivals aimed at raising awareness of its publications, which are designed to nurture children’s minds and foster creativity.
The Iraq International Children’s Festival provides an ideal platform for the Children’s Culture House to continue its mission of promoting knowledge and cultural awareness among young people, contributing to the enrichment of Iraq’s cultural landscape.
