The Head of the Communications and Media Commission, Dr Ali Al-Moayyed, successfully established a high-level committee for a collaboration with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the United States.
After a meeting with the President of International Affairs of the FCC in Washington, at the 2024 World Bank Digital Summit, many collaborative agreements have been put in place regarding efforts of exchanging media knowledge, communications, and information technology. The summit gathers ministers and government officials to explore the latest technologies and speak on the development of digital transformation and innovations.
Dr Ali Al-Moayyed emphasised that the collaboration should aim to increase the benefits of advanced technology and decrease the digital divide.
