Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs and Minister of Oil, Mr. Hayan Abdul-Ghani Al-Sawad, welcomed a delegation from the China Petroleum Engineering and Construction Corporation (CPECC) to discuss key opportunities for collaboration in Iraq’s energy sector.
The discussions centred on strategies to advance the development of the oil industry and maximise gas investment, aligning with Iraq’s broader goals of strengthening its energy infrastructure and optimising resource utilisation.
This meeting reflects the Iraqi government’s commitment to fostering partnerships with international companies to support the growth of its energy sector and attract investments that contribute to the country’s economic development.
