The Department of Youth and Sport in Iraq has initiated a rehabilitation workshop to focus on delivering social and psychological support. The workshops are running as part of a strategic plan for 2025.

The initiative, held in collaboration with the University of Baghdad, aims to empower youth to combat extremism through emotional resilience and education.
Twenty psychology students, young men and women, were brought together through this workshop. The participants received foundational training in psychological and social rehabilitation on the first day, with their primary focus on developing personal and communication skills.
Imad Al-Fahd, the international trainer, led the session, offering interactive instructions and expert insights. With hand-on training, tailored specifically for youth, the students attending were equipped with the tools and confidence to become future trainers in the field by the end of the seminar.

Workshops like these mark a significant step in building a network of capable, young leaders, ready to engage in a positive attitude towards mental wellness.
