Minister of Migration and Displacement, Ms. Evan Faiq Jabro, met with the Chairman of Nineveh Provincial Council, Dr. Ahmed Al-Hasoud, to discuss efforts to support internally displaced persons (IDPs) and returnees, as well as the needs of families residing at the Al-Amal Center for Psychological and Community Rehabilitation.
The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation between the Ministry and the Provincial Council to enhance assistance programmes and ensure displaced families receive the necessary support. Discussions also covered strategies to improve services that promote stability and dignity for returnees.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to addressing the challenges faced by displaced communities, highlighting the importance of sustainable solutions to facilitate their reintegration and improve their living conditions.
