The prestigious Mansion House in London played host to the flagship conference of the Iraq Britain Business Council (IBBC) on July 2nd, 2024. This one-day event focused on Iraq’s booming economy and the vast opportunities it presents for international businesses.
Following last year’s record attendance, the 2024 conference welcomed key Iraqi government officials and leading international businesses. Dynamic panels addressed crucial elements in the business landscape, while showcasing success stories in infrastructure development, agriculture, and finance.
A particular highlight was the formation of a dedicated friendship committee between the Iraqi and UK parliaments. This committee aims to strengthen communication and collaboration on matters of mutual interest, such as trade and security.
