The President of the Communications and Media Commission signed a memorandum of understanding with its Turkish counterpart.
Iraq and the Republic of Turkey signed a memorandum of understanding in the field of communications and media in the presence of Prime Minister Mr. Mohammed Shia’ Al-Sudani and Turkish President Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Monday.
The memorandum was signed on the Iraqi side by the President of the Communications and Media Commission, Dr. Ali Moayyed, and on the Turkish side by the Head of Communications Department in the Turkish Presidency, Mr. Fahrettin Altun.
The agreement focuses on enhancing cooperation prospects in the media and communications sectors, exchanging experiences, and joint delegations for the benefit of both countries.
Dr. Ali Moayyed also participated in the extended meeting attended by senior officials from both countries under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Mr. Mohammed Shia’ Al-Sudani.
