Iraq and UN Strengthen Ties for a Shared Future

The UN Secretary-General’s Special Representative for Iraq, Mohammed Al- Hassan, met with the Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al- Sudani, to review ongoing cooperation. 

The PM commended the UN’s decades of support to Iraq, and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to continued collaboration with UN agencies, particularly in areas such as climate change. 

Mr. Al Hassan expressed the UN’s readiness to support Iraq’s vision in tackling regional challenges.
