Iraq Joins 37th Arab Transport Ministers Council in Alexandria

With Iraq’s Minister of Transport, Mr. Razzaq Muhaibis Al-Saadawi, at the helm of a ministerial delegation, the 37th session of the Council of Arab Transport Ministers commenced at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport. Held in Alexandria, the high-level event brings together key Arab transport officials to discuss regional cooperation, infrastructure development, and strategic initiatives that aim to modernise and integrate transportation networks across the Arab world.

The session highlights the commitment of Arab nations to foster stronger transport links and enhance the movement of goods and people across borders. Discussions will address a range of transportation issues, from maritime and land transport infrastructure to digital transformation in logistics and sustainability efforts within the sector.
