Iraq National Team Completes Training Ahead of South Korea

The Iraqi national football team wrapped up its training today at Yongin-myoor Stadium in preparation for their match against the South Korean national team scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, at 8:00 PM local time (20:00) in Yongin, which is 2:00 PM (14:00) Baghdad time. This encounter is part of the qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.

Today’s training session was attended by all 24 players, along with notable figures including Adnan Darjal, President of the Iraqi Football Association; Younis Mahmoud, the second deputy president of the association and head of the Iraqi delegation; and Ahmed Al-Moussawi, a member of the Iraqi Football Association. The training also saw the presence of Iyad Binyan, the Prime Minister’s advisor for sports affairs, and Dr. Muhammad Mustafa, Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Seoul.
