The specialised committee detailed the measures taken to address the ban, focusing on improving Iraqi Airways’ operations. These efforts include automating all sections of the airline, repairing and maintaining aircraft, and enhancing the skills and facilities of the company’s staff. There is also a push to elevate the quality of services provided to passengers, reflecting Iraqi Airways’ cultural significance.

The committee focused on the importance of meeting the requirements set by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the International Air Transport Association (IATA). Efforts are underway to align with global air transport standards for passengers and cargo. A clear timeline has been established to achieve these targets promptly.
