On Thursday, February 27, 2025, the Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Turkey, Mr. Majid Al-Lajmawi, met with Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister, Mr. Nuh Yilmaz, to discuss bilateral relations and regional developments.
Held at the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting focused on enhancing cooperation across multiple sectors and exchanging perspectives on regional and international issues of mutual interest.
Both sides emphasised the importance of continued dialogue and coordination between Iraq and Turkey to advance shared interests and support security and stability in the region. The discussions underscored the commitment of both nations to strengthening diplomatic ties and fostering strategic partnerships for long-term regional prosperity.
