Iraqi Red Crescent Society Provides First Aid Services For Pilgrims of Karbala

Nearly 2000 paramedics are volunteering to provide medical and first aid services for pilgrims going to Karbala. Iraqi Red Crescent Society has set up tents on the road as well as ambulances for urgent cases. In addition to their medical help, they are providing tanks of water for the population and the staff due to the extreme heat.

The project is supervised by the president of Iraqi Red Crescent Society, Dr. Yassin Al-Mamouri. The services provided are spread at different locations around Karbala, in order to have an easy reach for the pilgrims.
