Iraq’s Prime Minister Participates in the Russian Energy Week Forum

In a recent visit to Moscow, Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani and President Vladimir Putin held a meeting to discuss potential collaborations in regards of oil and energy sectors. Both parties communicated on the advantages of working with Russia in order to grow Iraq’s economy and resources.

Russia’s President also welcomed Iraq’s Prime Minister to the 6th Russian Energy Week International Forum, with the aim to expand the horizons of cooperation and partnerships in the energy sector, focusing on advancing Iraqi gas investment in line with the government’s strategy, as well as attracting companies interested in investing in Iraq, introducing advanced technology, and promoting alternative and renewable energy development.
