The Minister of Health, Dr. Saleh Mahdi Al-Hasnawi, met with Dr. Arjan Muhammad Rashid, Director General of the Kirkuk Health Department, on Monday, November 18, 2024, at the Ministry’s headquarters. The meeting was attended by the Technical Undersecretary and several Directors General from the Ministry’s central office.
Dr. Al-Hasnawi reviewed the current health situation in Kirkuk Governorate and emphasised the Ministry’s commitment to supporting the department in its efforts to improve healthcare services. He outlined plans to complete ongoing health projects, enhance staffing with qualified medical and health professionals, and supply advanced medical equipment to ensure high-quality care for the governorate’s residents.
The Minister conveyed his appreciation to the staff of the Kirkuk Health Department for their dedication and directed that the department be provided with essential medicines and medical supplies to meet the needs of the community effectively.
The collaboration aims to deliver improved medical services and address health challenges in the governorate.
