Land Fleet Boosts Cargo Transfers with 352 Shipments

The General Company for Land Transport has successfully completed 352 transfers of bagged rice after the ship ANTI TOPIC docked at berth No. 3 in the southern port of Umm Qasr. This achievement aligns with the directives from the Minister of Transport, Mr. Razzaq Muhaibis Al-Saadawi, who emphasised the importance of efficiently transporting goods and cargo from ships arriving at Iraqi ports. The company’s fleet has been executing these tasks with impressive speed, ensuring the timely movement of merchandise.

Under the leadership of General Manager Mr. Murtada Karim Al-Shahmani, the company continues to demonstrate its commitment to fulfilling its duties and responsibilities effectively. The smooth operation of the fleet in handling the rice transfer highlights the significant role that land transport plays in Iraq’s broader logistics and supply chain infrastructure.

These successful operations contribute to strengthening Iraq’s commercial capabilities and maintaining the steady flow of goods through its key ports, such as Umm Qasr.
