The 62nd session of the Executive Council of the Arab Cities Organization commenced in the city of Tangier, with the participation of the Mayor of Baghdad, Eng. Ammar Musa Kazim, alongside Arab city leaders and mayors.
The meeting serves as a platform for discussing urban development, municipal cooperation, and strategies to enhance infrastructure across Arab cities. Notably, the previous session, the 61st, was held in Baghdad last year, where several key recommendations were put forward. These will now be revisited and assessed during the current session to ensure progress and implementation.
The Arab Cities Organization continues to play a pivotal role in fostering collaboration among municipalities, addressing urban challenges, and promoting sustainable development across the region.
