In a step towards modernising education and integrating advanced learning technologies, the Ministry of Education has inaugurated a smart electronic classroom at Baghdad College in Rusafa II. This initiative, developed in partnership with China’s Dahua, aims to enhance interactive learning and improve the educational experience through cutting-edge digital solutions.
The newly established classroom features an electronic portal that regulates student entry, an interactive whiteboard to facilitate modern teaching methods, and smart surveillance cameras to ensure a secure learning environment. A central control unit records lessons for rebroadcast via educational channels, enabling flexible and accessible learning opportunities.
This project, led by the Information and Communications Center of the General Directorate of Educational Planning, represents a significant step towards digital transformation in Iraq’s education sector. By incorporating innovative classroom technologies, the initiative supports the development of more engaging, secure, and future-ready learning environments for students across the country.
