The Ministry of Oil held a significant meeting today with the Parliamentary Strategic Planning Committee to review progress on government programme projects and outline future strategies.
The meeting, chaired by Dr. Laila Al-Tamimi, a Member of the House of Representatives, included several Parliamentary Committee members. Representing the Ministry of Oil were Undersecretary for Refining Affairs Mr. Hamed Younis, Undersecretary for Extraction Affairs Mr. Basem Muhammad Khader, and Undersecretary for Gas Affairs Mr. Ezzat Saber.
During the meeting, Mr. Hamed Younis, head of the Ministry’s government programme team, provided an overview of completed projects and those underway, highlighting the Ministry’s achievements within the framework of the government programme. Challenges impeding project timelines were also discussed, with an emphasis on identifying solutions to ensure timely completion.
The Undersecretary praised the Strategic Planning Committee for its oversight and constructive evaluation of the Ministry’s initiatives.
General managers from companies and relevant departments also participated in the meeting, contributing to the discussions aimed at aligning objectives and streamlining the Ministry’s operations to achieve national development goals.
