The Minister of Health, Dr. Saleh Mahdi Al-Hasnawi, conducted a field visit today to oversee the final preparations for the opening of the People’s General Hospital in the capital, Baghdad. Accompanying the Minister were the Governor of Baghdad, Mr. Abdul Muttalib Al-Alawi, alongside senior officials from the Ministry of Health, Baghdad Governorate, and the project implementation team.
Dr. Al-Hasnawi emphasised that the hospital will operate using the latest international management and healthcare delivery methods, ensuring high-quality services for the citizens of Baghdad. He added that the Ministry is committed to equipping the hospital with cutting-edge technology and specialised facilities to meet the growing healthcare needs of the population.
The People’s General Hospital is set to become a key contributor in Iraq’s healthcare system, providing advanced medical services and addressing the healthcare demands of the capital’s residents. Its imminent inauguration marks a significant milestone in Iraq’s ongoing efforts to modernise its healthcare infrastructure.
