The Planning and Follow-up Department of the Ministry of Transport, represented by the Research and Studies Department, held a joint meeting with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Al-Mustansiriyah University, College of Atmospheric Sciences today, Monday, to coordinate cooperation on environmental issues.
The meeting focused on mechanisms of collaboration to address environmental challenges such as weather impacts, pollution, desertification, and sand dunes. Discussions centered on developing research and studies to devise effective solutions for these pressing environmental concerns.
The gathering included representatives from various formations within the Ministry of Transport and a delegation from Al-Mustansiriyah University, led by Dr. Israa Qahtan Abdul Kareem. The coordinated effort underscores the commitment of both institutions to tackle environmental problems through joint research and strategic initiatives.
