The Green Bird Takes Flight

After a short-term hiatus, the Green Bird aeroplane has returned to the skies. The plane, which launches weekly flights from five Iraqi airports to Beirut, has taken flight once again, launching 25 weekly flights.

Under the direction of the Minister of Transport, Razzaq Muhaibis Al-Saadawi, Iraqi Airways has resumed flights from cities across Iraq, including Basrah, Erbil, Baghdad and Najaf to Beirut.

Beirut Station Director Adel Ibrahim Dawar explained that the weekly flights launched by Iraqi Airways to Beirut International Airport include 14 flights from Baghdad International Airport, four flights from Najaf Airport, three flights from Basra International Airport, two flights from Sulaymaniyah International Airport, and two flights from Erbil International Airport.

Dawar noted that all staff, from flight crews to those in the offices, especially in Beirut, are working hard to improve the airline’s operations and provide the best service to passengers.
