The Minister of Culture Stresses the Importance of Sustainability in New Build Tourism Project

Baghdad – (iina) In a conference about the Sustainable Tourism Villages held by the Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Antiquities, Dr. Ahmed Fakak Al-Badrani, topics of climate change crisis and preservation of the environment were discussed.

The Minister of Culture is putting a great focus on sustainability, especially, in building tourism villages that will benefit both Iraq’s economy and the environment by constructing without causing pollution and waste.

These Sustainable Tourism Villages consist of environmentally friendly residences that will be a good asset for the development of tourism in Iraq.
