Baghdad – (iina) The Ministry of Communications and CMC (Communications and Media Commission) have agreed to establish a high-level joint committee to study shared files and take appropriate measures.
In a joint statement, it was stated that “the Minister of Communications, Hayam Al-Yasiri, met with the head of the Communications and Media Commission, Dr. Ali Al-Moayad, and the head of the Board of Commissioners, Bassam Saleem Hussein to discuss a number of files of mutual interest.”
They added that “during the meeting, attended by senior staff from the ministry and the commission, emphasis was placed on the importance of enhancing mutual cooperation and coordinating efforts to ensure the advancement of the communications sector and the provision of the best services to citizens and institutions.”
It was further noted that “the meeting resulted in an agreement to form a high-level joint committee from the ministry and CMC to discuss and study shared files and take appropriate actions regarding them, ensuring respect for the rights of consumers and investors and supporting the private sector.”
