The Sweet Side of Baghdad

A new ‘Dessert Carnival’ kicks off in Baghdad, turning the Nakheel Baghdad Entertainment Complex into a vibrant, festive scene. 

The venue featured a wide range of booths offering varieties of traditional and modern sweets and ice creams, alongside Iraqi coffee and tea brands to showcase the diversity of local taste.

For health-conscious individuals, the event had a corner dedicated to diet-friendly desserts. 

The carnival, which lasted throughout the evening, attracted families and children, with its variety of live music supporting local musicians, and interactive contests. The festivities also featured a flower booth which became the festival goers preferred photo spot. 

This event is part of a broader series of activities hosted in the capital, aimed at supporting local businesses and revitalising commercial and recreational life in Baghdad.
