Umm Qasr North Port has efficiently completed unloading operations for a total of 1,816 containers, 352 cars, and various goods, at a rate of three ships docked at the port’s docks.
Eng. Farhan Al-Fartousi, Director General of Iraqi Ports, highlighted that this accomplishment followed the directives of Iraq’s Minister of Transport, Mr. Razzaq Muhaibis Al-Saadawi. As part of the daily unloading and loading schedule, port staff successfully managed the unloading of containers, cars, and goods across three vessels.
The MSC Martina, docked at Dock 15, carried containers; the Celsius Nelson, stationed at Dock 19, was also loaded with containers; and the Jabal Ali-1, located at Dock 21, brought in various goods. The efficient operations emphasises the port’s capacity to handle high volumes of cargo while maintaining streamlined procedures.
