Valentines Celebrations in Baghdad

Decorations adorn the streets of Baghdad in celebration of Valentine’s Day 2025. Stores across Baghdad, in areas such as Karrada, Mansour and Kadhimiya, are brimming with flowers, gifts and red decorations. 

This year, one of the most popular gifts was the classic teddy bear, bought by people all across Baghdad to express their love. Storefronts were creatively decorated in shades of red and pink,  featuring an array of gifts, flowers, and balloons, creating a festive atmosphere throughout the city.

The decorations and festivities have brought a sense of warmth to the vibrant city of Baghdad and reflect the blend of tradition and modernity found in Baghdad. The city is open to global celebrations, whilst maintaining its cultural traditions..
