The Ministry of Youth and Sports actively participated in the cultural bazaar organized by the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls, aligning with Minister Dr. Ahmed Al-Mubarqa’s directives to promote sports, cultural, artistic, and scientific activities among Iraq’s youth. The event, led by the Department of Youth Culture and Arts under the supervision of Director General Dr. Faiz Taha Salem, aimed to engage students and young people in creative and educational pursuits.
The cultural bazaar showcased a wide range of activities, including exhibitions of fine art, a book fair, and displays of arts and handicrafts, accompanied by live musical performances. Additionally, books were distributed to poets who recently participated in the Iraqi Youth Poet Festival, an event organized by the Ministry to celebrate young Iraqi talent in poetry.
Dr. Faiz Taha Salem commended the vibrant artwork and crafts on display, appreciating the creativity and dedication of the young participants. The event reflected the Ministry’s commitment to fostering a holistic cultural environment in educational institutions, encouraging young Iraqis to explore their talents and connect with their heritage through art and literature.
